Your Refrigerator Door

Think about your refrigerator door for a moment.  It may above or below your freezer.  It may have french doors or a traditional opening.  It may be stainless steel, white, black or even avocado green.

Think past it's traditional refrigeratorness.  What is on it?  Pictures of your kids, pets, family and friends?  Art work or school papers?  Funky magnets?  Momentos of a trip or special occasion?  Letters or magnetic poetry?  Grocery lists or important papers?

The kitchen is the heart of the home and your refrigerator is it's most important item.  It is opened and closed dozens of times per day.  Everyone in your home touches it.  The refrigerator is the hub, the nexus of your family.  And the door is your library, gallery or museum.  Whenever there is something great or memorable, chances are it will hang on your refrigerator for a time.

In a very real way your refrigerator door reflects what is most important to you.

But are you living a life that is worthy of space on your refrigerator door?  And not just the bottom corner, would you hang your life front and center for everyone to see?

If you are anything like me, you might struggle with the answer to that question.
"Umm..."
"Maybe on a good day."
"I wish."

"I don't really know."

The Fridge Door Project is all about creating a life worth that front and center spot.  It's about taking that risk and stepping into the unknown to follow your dreams.  It will highlight women who are living that life and learning from them.

Please join me on this journey.
